For the third time, NAZDAQ took part in the annual “Baan Practice Day” of the Deutsche Baan Users Group (DbuG) in Darmstadt. The DBUG associates more than 200 German companies thus is an essential event for Baan solution providers for holding conferences and presenting their products.
At the conference, Bader Mansour, CEO of NAZDAQ, gave a breakout session entitled “Archiving and Retrieving Purchase Orders and Invoices in Baan and ERP Ln”. The audience was impressed by the simplicity and effectiveness of this solution.
The conference was also a unique experience for Bader because of an unexpected encounter with another native-born Nazarene. Out of all the people gathered at the conference, the German Jan Ruppert approached Bader and introduced himself by telling him that his family lived in the Silesian Technical School on the top of the hill and that he spent the first three years of his life in Nazareth. It was a great pleasure for Bader and Jan to exchange stories about people and places. Currently, Jan works as a project manager with EWM Hightec Welding on an LN project in the Czech Republic and Germany. On his return to Nazareth, Bader inquired at the Silesian School and discovered that people still know the Ruppert family as nice people and remembered the contributions of his father Raimund to the school. The family has remained in contact with their friends in Nazareth for over 40 years.
